Threaded flanges are designed as loose flanges, which helps reduce the additional torque generated on the cylinder or pipeline when the flange is deformed. They are characterized by convenient installation and maintenance, making them ideal for use in applications where welding is not an option. While alloy steel flanges offer sufficient strength, their welding performance is not always optimal. In such cases, threaded flanges can be a good alternative. However, they should not be used when the temperature of the pipeline changes sharply or when the temperature is higher than 260°C or lower than -45°C, as this may result in leakage.
